After the acquisition of Mackey & Tanner by Vaco, this Houston-based staffing and recruiting firm (specializing in IT, Finance and Accounting) not only needed to align with the national Vaco brand, they also needed a social media strategy that engaged both candidates and clients. The Social Media Action Plan we implemented streamlined relevant industry data and quality posting while staying up-to-date on the constantly evolving trends and changes in the social media world. When it comes to social media, regardless of the client or industry, the RMH standard is to develop quality content that is relevant, engaging and that demands feedback.
Results: In less than one year, with RMH managing their social media accounts, Vaco Houston has increased their Facebook business page likes by 130% and LinkedIn followers by 66%. Brand awareness and internal morale is at an all-time high across all the company’s social media sites, leading to an increase in job placements. We also worked closely with Mackey & Tanner for their rebrand after the acquisition by Vaco.
How many times have you been driving in your car and hear that same old boring car commercial? You can never remember what they’re saying, and why are they talking so fast?! Exclusions this and limited time that? Confused? We were too.
Norman Frede Chevrolet, a leading dealership in the greater Houston area for over 45 years, needed to draw more people to their website to increase revenue and solidify their reputation as the best dealer around for a new or used Chevy.
Results: RMH sought out a non-traditional broadcast campaign in order to differentiate NFC from a very cluttered and competitive category. Using Pandora to drive people directly to the site through ad clicks, we delivered 30,000 potential customers to the NFC site via Pandora clicks.
Have you ever bought the newest pair of running shoes on the market for your latest attempt at getting in shape and they sit unworn? How about that treadmill collecting dust in your spare bedroom? How many times have you paid money for something that you never “turn on?”
Direct Energy, the largest retail electricity provider in North America, recognized that they needed help activating their Houston Dynamo sponsorship. RMH engaged fans with on-site photo booth displays, run by our bilingual promo crew, who collected personal data from fans, measured event success with the numbers of photos redeemed online and reported feedback after each event to Direct Energy, all the while educating the attendees about Direct Energy’s offerings.
Meanwhile, back at Reliant Stadium, Wells Fargo was also “turning on” their activation with the University of Houston. Through fan interactions and giveaways, RMH’s brand ambassadors are representing the Wells Fargo brand while allowing the Wells Fargo bankers the freedom to make the sale and increase their reach.
Did you know that for every $100 spent at any local business, $45 remains within the community’s economy? Don’t worry, most people didn’t. With the help of RMH, Baby’s & Kid’s 1st created a new community initiative, “Born Local, Buy Local,” which through education encourages parents to shop locally, keeping their local economy thriving.
The launch of this initiative was an in-store event, where consumers could shop other related businesses inside the Baby’s 1st store. Participating vendors included yoga for moms and moms-to-be, local photographers specializing in baby and children’s photography, mommy boot camps and maternity wear. Food trucks also joined in on the fun.
Results: Through a mix of efforts such as email marketing, radio placement, social media and press releases the event garnered local TV news coverage; the foot traffic and store sales exceeded all expectations. The Born Local, Buy Local event model is ready for its next iteration and the initiative is being continued through other avenues, such as in-store signage and continued email marketing.
RMH created its Full Circle Branding program as a guideline for building your brand, be it from the ground up or as an identity “refresh.” Porter Investments stands as a perfect example of the ground up implementation. With the desire to shift their business model and investment methodology, Daedalus Capital Group needed to reinvent themselves with a new name, logo and identity to branch out and grow as a business.
Results: RMH conducted a focus group, client interviews and researched the industry to discover what would make the new approach unique. Utilizing these results, and the structure of our Full Circle Branding program, we took Porter Investments from conception to realization with a logo, website and communication plan to bring this new company to market.
